Wake up very early and head of straight to the Sossusvlei, it will be so worth it! Enter the park when it's still dark, and drive for an hour to the Deadvlei. After arriving at the "parking lot" in the middle of nowhere, you still need to walk for another kilometer through the desert sand.
This place is truly surreal, especially with the golden sun shining on it during sunrise—absolutely stunning. Between the dunes lies a white clay pan, where 700-year-old trees eerily jut out of the ground. It made for some breathtaking photos.
