Last summer during our road trip through the Balkans, one of the highlights of the trip was a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This place had been on my bucket list for a while and was also one of the reasons I really wanted to return to Croatia. It’s always a bit exciting to visit a place that’s so busy and popular because it might be disappointing and a tourist trap! But is that the case?
