Did you know you can spot flamingos all over Sardinia? Locals call them ‘sa genti arrubia’ or ‘red people' because they have been on the island for such a long time.
I myself found the best place to spot these beautiful birds to be Parco di Molentargius. We stayed just outside the National Park and went for walks during sunset. The birds all gather in the water, and there are several lookout towers where you can admire them in peace.
