Switserland is the walhalla of hiking. One of our favorite valleys is Val D’hérens, situated in the south of Switserland. It covers different authentic villages and has a lot of walking possibilities. For this snowshoe hike, we’ve chosen La Forclaz as our walking setting.
There is an easy route of 5 kilometres that is marked with a snowshoe signbord. on the website of Val D’hérens (linked in this blog), you can find the tour on the map. It’s a very scenic route with magical views.
We've expanded this route so we could have a drink in Le Tsaté. This makes the route a bit more technical and difficult, but then the drinks are more than deserved. Enjoy the hike!
