Desierto de Gorafe in Andalusia has the most amazing landscapes. We were speechless all the way up to this great viewpoint: Puntal De Don Diego. It also makes the perfect spot for an unforgettable sunset 😉
To reach Puntal De Don Diego, drive from the village of Gorafe. It takes about half an hour, and you can drive all the way to the top, with the last part being a gravel road. But we made it with our Fiat 500! :)
At Puntal De Don Diego, you get a fantastic view of the desert’s rock formations and wide plains. The red, orange, and yellow rocks look especially amazing as the sun starts to set.
It can get chilly after the sun sets, so bring some warmer clothes with you.
