Located in the west of the island, The Phare des Baleines is the most idyllic backdrop to watch the sunset in Île de Ré. There is a nice beach to watch the spectacle.
Afterwards, you can enjoy an ice cream or a waffle from one of the shops near the Phare. This is a nice place to end your day, a little touristy but our kids loved it here.
