The Chartreuse region in France is not so well-known. Yet. Because it has A LOT to offer. Like the Charmant Som, for example. An easy accessible mountain top with magnificent 360° views.
The mountain has an altitude of 1867 meters but you can drive almost all the way to the top. Park your car near Auberge du Charmant Som and you're only a 40 minute hike away from reaching the top. The paths and signs are well maintained, making it a rather easy hike.
