Our dream stay at Mountain View Experience in Peru

If you're looking for the perfect getaway in Peru, Mountain View Experience is where you want to be. We weren't sure what to expect, but our stay there ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Let us tell you more about our amazing stay! Mountain View Experience, located in Maras, Peru, is one of the most unique places we've ever stayed. We booked one of their A-frame cabins with a hot tub, and it was absolutely perfect! From stunning views of the Andes, an outdoor fireplace, and alpacas and llamas casually passing by, everything was a dream. Inside, we had a spacious bed, a woodstove, and a separate bathroom. The main building, where the reception and restaurant are located, was another highlight. With natural light flooding through glass walls, it felt cozy and welcoming, setting the tone for an amazing stay. What made it even more special were the alpacas and llamas casually wandering around, sometimes even inside! They’d make eye contact, and you couldn’t help but smile at these gentle giants. The food was fantastic too. On the pricier side, but totally worth it for such a unique and remote spot. Between the breathtaking views, adorable alpaca encounters, and the comfort of the cabins, we wished we’d booked more than just one night! Don’t make the same mistake as us ;-)
