Hike to the Fälensee, Switzerland
Enclosed between mighty, sheer cliffs of the Alpstein massif lies Switzerland's Norwegian fjord: the Fälensee. This magnificent lake provided the backdrop for our winter hike. Near the lake is mountain restaurant Bollenwie where the terrace is also a great place to stay in summer. During the summer months, the hike can also be extended to include passage over a ridge with an insane view as far as Liechtenstein.
