Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, it's the most visited and touristic place in Croatia but it's for a a good reason! The historic town on the Adriatic sea has been used a filming location for the popular show Game of Thrones. Therefore we couldn't visit this town without booking a 'game of thrones' tour. We booked our tour with getyourguide, but there are many websites offering similar tours. The tour started in the historic old town and from there we walked to the Fort Lovrijenac. This Fort has been used a backdrop for many scenes and you might recognize it as 'Red Keep'. From the Fort you also have an amazing view on the city walls. After the fort we continued our tour to the old town but first our guide Elena showed us a secret beach in Dubrovnik where the locals swim! The tour continued to the Jesuit Staircase, the place where Cersei had her famous 'walk of shame'. The tour finished at a little shop where we had the chance to take a photo on the Iron Throne. I would highly recommend a game of thrones tour as it's a great way to see the city, filming locations as well as hidden spots in the city!
