Set in the middle of one of the largest forest in France, this black-and-white-striped tower is a very distinctive monument. Originally entirely white, it was painted with two black stripes to serve as a landmark for daytime navigation.
You can visit the lighthouse and climb its 192 steps to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Landes! You have the blue of the Atlantic ocean on the on side and the enormous pine forests stretching out on the other side.
A fun experience for the whole family. We climbed it with kids between 3 and 11 and they all loved it!
