In March, we embarked on a long winter hike that combined two ascents: one to the summit of the Weisshorn, Arosa's highest point, and another to the Hornliütte. This exhilarating adventure showcased the beauty and diversity of Arosa's winter landscape. Most of the routes extend above the tree line, offering incredible panoramas, though they can be chilly on winter days. Another advantage of Arosa is its excellent accessibility. You can easily reach this winter sports village by taking a train from the provincial city of Chur via the Rhaetian Railway.
