Three weeks a year during blooming season (April-May) the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken are opened for the public. Designed by Alphonse Balat, architect and tutor to Victor Horta, the greenhouses match the Royal Domain perfectly. The greenhouse complex is made up of the following areas: The Palm Plateau The Embarcadère The square Congo Greenhouse The domed Winter Garden The Orangery
