Amidst the winding streets of the Marais, the Musée Carnavalet offers a unique mixture of cultural enrichment and gastronomic delight.
By day, there is a terrace which you can enjoy with a coffee surrounded by beautiful flowers and the sunlight. You will arrive directly after visiting the museum, in the beautiful garden where you can take some rest. However, there is also the possibility to go directly to the terrace without going through the museum.
When the sun goes down, the terrace will be transformed into a cozy dining place with beautiful lightnings and candles, to savor the moment of relaxation and to taste the vegetarian plates prepared by a chef, with fresh vegetables from the chefs garden.
The museum itself, is a celebration of Parisian history, they offer different expositions each two months and are worth visiting.
The terrace is open to everyone, you can sit in the sun and read a book, or come with friends and having the apero with a good bottle of wine or some cocktails. It is my favorite spot in Paris to just relax in a patio in the middle of the city, to smell the flowers, to enjoy the sunlight all the day long and to chat with friends about life.
