As you know, Leuven is home to the world famous Stella Artois and AB InBev, world's largest brewery concern. The history of the most famous brewery in Leuven goes all the way back to at least 1366, when the first Stella beer was brewed as a Christmas beer at Brouwerij De Hoorn. Today, Stella Artois moved across the river at the Vaartkom and Brouwerij De Hoorn turned into a restaurant and co-working space. You can still spot former Stella Artois buildings all over the Vaartkom.
