Head over to the enchanting Amphawa Floating Market, which is about an hour's drive from Mae Klong Railway Market, and an hour and a half from Bangkok. Unlike the more touristy Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Amphawa is still more authentic and peaceful.
Arriving in the afternoon, you'll find the waterways come alive with boats selling lots of goods, from fresh grilled seafood to handmade crafts and souvenirs. You can even rent a boat to explore the market from the water.
Definitely stay for sunset if you have the time! The market takes on a magical glow with colorful lanterns and the aroma of Thai street food filling the air.
