Visiting the Tulipfields in the Netherlands

Between April and May, The Netherlands will change into 'the country of tulips'. It is at this time of the year that the tulip fields are visible in the Netherlands. You'll find fields full of different colored Tulips in a lot of locations throughout the country. We just came back from a road trip through the tulip fields and we would love to share our route! We started our route in Schagen. You can choose to do this route by car or by bike. Cycling through the tulip fields will make your experience even better! However, it can be windy or rainy in the Netherlands in April. If you'd like to do the route by bike, make sure to hire your bike at 'Fred's verhuur', Schagen. This was our exact route: Schagen - Schagerbrug - Sint Maartensvlotbrug (make sure to go via the 'Belkmerweg') - Sint Maartensbrug - Sint Maarten - Schagen We hope you'll enjoy your trip to the tulip fields!
