Wat Huay Pla Kang in Chiang Rai is a striking Buddhist temple complex featuring a 25-meter tall statue of Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, as its centrepiece.
This impressive statue is surrounded by smaller Buddha statues and offers visitors a panoramic view of the Chiang Rai area.
The temple grounds also include a large pagoda adorned with intricate designs and murals depicting Buddhist teachings.
