Travel itinerary: one week in the magical country of Jordan

Jordan is a country in the middle east, on the border with Israël. The country is also located at both the Red Sea and the Dead Sea. In a short time I fell in love with this beautiful country. Let me take you along to what a week in Jordan looks like! The itinerary is Day 1-2 Amman + Dead see Day 3-4 Petra Day 5 Wadi Rum Day 6 Aqaba Day 7 Amman Best traveltime: Springtime in March, May or Autumn: October, November. I did this trip in November and the weather was good overall, not to hot or to cold. Because of the height differences in the country the temperature can vary a lot. At the Dead Sea it’s very warm but at the capital Amman it can be quite chilly! Tip: I made this trip with the travel organisation Shoestring. This was my second trip with Shoestring, they are a dutch travel company that offers worldwide grouptrips.. Shoestring arranges the flights, hotels, transport etc. The only thing you need to take care of is a visum! Shoestring offers multiple trips to Jordan of different lengths, one of one week and a longer one of two weeks. I choose the one week trip, this is enough time to see all the highlights and still have a bit of time left to relax ;)
