Ever wanted to spot pigs at a beach? Playa Porto Marie, is the place to be! All jokes aside, there are pigs sometimes but they are dirty and not the Bahamas kind of you imagine. So if you are going for the pigs, be prepared to be disappointed.
However, Playa Porto Marie is a magnificent place! A very colourful beach with places to do some art work, a small stranded boat, good life advice and a nice place to eat. There is also a small shop with nice bathing suites and beach wear. A big parking where you can park your car and unload all the essentials for swimming and tanning all day.
You have to pay entrance to the beach. I don't remember exactly but I think it is around 6 naf per person. This includes your tanning bed.
If you want to pick up diving there is a diving school that offers courses and rents out diving stuff. Remember always dive with a buddy, keep it safe and enjoy the breathtaking under water world.
