One of our favourite places in Panamá was definitely this former family beach home turned hotel. The beach & the ocean only a few steps away, from wherever we were. It is truly the most authentic & nostalgic place to stay when headed to Venao. The jungle is always nearby (that includes crabs & howler monkeys) just as the ocean is. Discover the tide pools at low tide or walk to the 'town' and jump in the waves or go out on a seakayak at high tide. Due to the little island in front of the property, the current is less strong then other places in Venao (which is a surfer beach). Make sure to try some of their local or more international dishes & juices... the service is simply amazing, staff was beyond generous and helpful. Even when it rains, it is incredibly peaceful to just lay in a hammock, and listen to and watch the rain and the ocean.
