When in South West France, you really have to conquer the waves of the Atlantic ocean!
The surf vibe is very present and you see people walking around with surf boards everywhere.
There are also a lot of surf schools to make sure your first surfing experience is the best possible. We booked a lesson at Max Respect and it didn't dissappoint!
Our teacher really did his best to teach us the basics of catching waves and we did manage to surf a couple of waves. My son (11) surfed his first waves and couldn't be more excited afterwards. This was his first time surfing, but definitely not the last ;-).
