Sitting on top of a cascading waterfall, this small historic village truly comes alive at night when all the lights turn on.
This ancient city is only a quick 30-minute train ride from Zhangjiajie, where you'll find the beautiful Avatar Mountains. It's perfect for a day trip or an overnight stay. We opted to stay overnight to fully immerse ourselves in the village's beauty. For a touch of luxury, I highly recommend staying at the 'Anna · Xizhou Ji Hotel' during your visit.
The entrance fee is 14.5 euros, and if you're over 60, you'll receive a discount. Remember to bring your passport, as it's required for entry fees across China.
There's a little walking trail inside the village to make sure you visited all the scenic spots around town. You'll see the trail information displayed on a sign.
