This was an adventure in itself for the kids! We started our journey at the stunning Antwerp Central Station. It's a great place to begin your trip—no need to arrive two hours early like for a flight, just 15 minutes will do.
Once onboard, we were shown to our private compartment, a cozy space with two large seats (for 5 to 6 people), two tables and a big window. At night, it transforms into a sleeping compartment with up to five beds, making it perfect for a family of four or five. We played games, read and just relaxed. It’s so easy for everyone to unwind! You can even order some drinks or snacks from the stewards, with options varying by train. As bedtime approached, we transformed the seats into beds and drifted off to sleep to the gentle sound of the train chugging along. Waking up in Berlin was truly magical. We spent the whole morning traveling through the beautiful Czech landscape, following rivers all the way to Prague. What a fantastic way to travel!
